Safe by default, and free, always

Earlier apps like this felt invasive. Waylo is built the other way round: you’re in control of who sees you, nothing reaches you without your say, and nothing lasts longer than your visit.

Every safety feature is free. Charging for safety is how a social app earns a reputation it can’t undo, so we won’t.

Privacy and safety settings in Waylo
  • Zones, never dots

Others see the zone you’re in, like “Gate B12” or “Floor 3”. Never a pin on a map. You can hide even the zone.

  • Waves before messages

Nobody can message you until you’ve both waved. A wave that isn’t returned simply goes nowhere.

  • You set who sees you

Everyone checked in, women only, or only people on your flight, train or course. Filters on the other side can only narrow, never widen.

  • Anonymous where it matters

In clinics and offices you appear as an alias like “Quiet Owl”, with no name or photo.

  • Everything disappears

Chats, rooms, games and waves end with your visit unless you both choose to keep each other.

  • Meet in busy public places

When you plan to meet, Waylo suggests a busy, public spot that’s close for both of you.

  • Block and report, one tap

From any profile, chat or activity. They won’t know it was you, and our team reviews every report.

  • A trusted contact

Share where you’re meeting with someone you trust in one tap. They never need an account.

Something wrong?

Use Report on the person’s profile or in the chat; that sends us the context we need. For anything else, or if you’re not in the app, email kowais915@gmail.com.

If you’re in danger, contact local emergency services first.

Waylo is for adults 18 and over. Read the terms for the full community rules.
