Terms of use

Last updated 8 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Waylo. By using the app you agree to them.

Who can use Waylo

You must be 18 or older and allowed to use the app where you live. One account per person, and the details you give must be true.

Community rules

Waylo works because people trust that the person waving at them is just someone else waiting. To keep it that way:

  • Be who you are. No fake profiles, impersonation or pretending to be at a place you’re not.
  • Respect a no. An unanswered wave or a declined keep is an answer. Don’t try to contact someone another way.
  • Keep it public. Meet in busy public places. Don’t pressure anyone to go somewhere private.
  • No harassment, hate or sexual content. Including in usernames, photos and activity titles.
  • No selling or spam. Waylo isn’t for promoting businesses, collecting contacts or recruiting.
  • Don’t record or share others. Don’t screenshot or publish other people’s profiles or messages to embarrass or target them.

We may remove content, limit features or close accounts that break these rules, and we may report serious cases to the authorities.

Your content

You own what you post. You give Waylo permission to show it to the people you choose, for as long as the app is designed to keep it (usually just your visit).

Plus

Plus is an optional subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewals and refunds follow the store’s rules. You can cancel any time in your store settings; Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Venues and sponsored content

Some activities and offers come from venues or sponsors. They’re always labelled. Offers are provided by the venue, and Waylo isn’t responsible for them.

The service

We work hard to keep Waylo running and safe, but it’s provided “as is”. We’re not responsible for what people do when they meet, so use good judgement and the safety features. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live.

Changes

We’ll tell you in the app before changes to these terms take effect. Questions: kowais915@gmail.com.
